This Return and Refund Policy explains when and how Ameano Peptides LLC (“Ameano Peptides,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accepts returns and issues refunds for orders placed through ameanopeptideslab.com (the “Site”). By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.

Research Use Only. All products sold by Ameano Peptides LLC are intended strictly for laboratory research purposes and are not for human or animal consumption. Because of the sensitive, temperature-controlled nature of these products, our return policy is more limited than a typical retail policy — please read it in full before ordering.

1. General Policy

Due to the nature of our products — research compounds that must be kept sealed and temperature-stable to remain viable — we are unable to accept returns on any item once it has been opened, used, or has left our custody in acceptable condition. This policy exists to protect the integrity of every batch we ship, not to make things difficult for you. If something is genuinely wrong with your order, we want to hear about it and make it right (see Sections 3 and 4 below).

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Any product that has been opened, reconstituted, or used
  • Any product with a broken tamper-evident seal
  • Products that were not stored per the handling instructions provided upon delivery
  • Orders older than [30] days from the delivery date
  • Gift cards or promotional/sample items, if applicable

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within [7] days of delivery at support@ameanopeptideslab.com with your order number and clear photos of the item(s) and the packaging as received. Once we’ve verified the issue, we will offer a replacement or a refund, at your choice, at no additional cost to you.

This includes packages affected by a shipping issue outside your control — for example, a package that arrived warm after being delayed in transit despite temperature-controlled packaging. See our Shipping and Delivery Policy for how we handle carrier delays.

4. Unopened Items

If you’d like to return an unopened, unused item still in its original, sealed packaging, contact us at support@ameanopeptideslab.com within [14] days of delivery to request a Return Authorization before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted. [A restocking fee of [X]% may apply to approved unopened returns.] Return shipping costs for this type of return are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error.

5. How to Request a Return or Refund

  1. Email support@ameanopeptideslab.com with your order number and the reason for your request.
  2. Our team will review your request and, if approved, provide instructions and a Return Authorization (if applicable).
  3. Ship the item back using the instructions provided, or — for damaged/incorrect items — simply provide the requested photos; no return shipment may be necessary.
  4. Once your return is received and inspected (or your claim is verified), we’ll notify you of the outcome by email.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow [5–10] business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider’s processing times. Shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return is a result of our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item).

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund within the timeframe above, first check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some additional time for a refund to post officially. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, contact us at support@ameanopeptideslab.com and we’ll look into it.

8. Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order for a full refund at any time before it has entered processing. Once an order has been processed or a shipping label has been created, it can no longer be cancelled and would instead need to be handled as a return per the sections above once received.
